Went a littl overboard with the camera the last few outings and I have posted over 200 pictures to our 2010 picture gallery. Pictures were taken in Illinois at various autocross events and some came from one of our club members who was present as well. I even took my camera out showing ho lovely the scenery was on the trip down.

Don, your wait is finally over! The pictures you provided to me for posting on the site have finally made their long journey to the world wide webs. Pictures from an autocross, people's choice conourse and the Midwest Region Banquet are now online for Don's viewing pleasure. Of course, since we can't really stop the rest of the potential interested parties, I guess anyone who wants to see them can view them as well. Just remember to thank Don when you get a chance -- it's all about the Washingtons. :)

It was brought to my attention at our last meeting that I mistakenly moved the 06-June event to Illinois. Despite putting it to a vote, it was decided that Mequon should remain in its original location in the state of Wisconsin. Sometimes you fight the good fight and you still lose, but it is sometimes more important to go down in style. :)
Added more flyers to the events page and also added a section that explains some of the terminology used.
The event calendar has also been updated with the latest flyers for upcoming events.

I'm not sure about you, but I know that my Corvette gets special treatment. While 32 years old doesn't sound like much for a person or a tree, it is a lot for a car, especially in the areas where snow is common. One thing I've done to ensure the health and well-being of my car is to make sure it's on a low sodium diet. This means that it stays safely in the garage during the winter while the snow and salt flies.
While I don't do anything special to winterize my car, I do try to start it up every 45 days to help ensure the battery doesn't go dead. You can also find a battery minder that will help prevent spring dead battery syndrome.
So, while the Corvette is hibernating, I am looking forward to events for the coming year. I've started populating the 2010 calendar of events, but there isn't much to make plans for just yet -- except attending the next Badger State Vettes membership meeting.
